Laphroaig The 1815 Legacy Edition

This single malt from the iconic Laphroaig Distillery on the island of Islay pays tribute to the hard-working team that have produced some of the finest single malt over recent years. Overseen by the John Campbell, this single malt is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and finished in larger new European oak hogsheads.

On the nose expect burnt sweet fruit; apricot and raisin…a touch of spice too. The palate is presented with soft oak notes, caramelised fruits and dark sugar. The finish is peaty with a nutty background.
