The nose is plum in rum, damp wood, unsweetened natural liquorice, herbs Cachous funfair candy, apricot
The palate leads with tea leaves, liquorice, dried plums, herbal essence, slightly bitter notes of wood, dry dark chocolate and soft vanilla and fudge.
The finish is long, tea leaves, wood, nice malt sweetness, liquorice.
This single cask strength malt is a pure joy and one to savour from the King Car distillery. Great stuff!
