Game of Thrones House Stark – Dalwhinnie Winter’s Frost

The King of the North! House Stark ruled as kings and protectors of the North for generations. Rulers over the cold winter lands where winter is always coming.... The Starks were loyal and fierce and resilient in the face of adversity. Their home of Winterfell is very similar to the distillery of Dalwhinnie, the highest altitude distillery in all of Scotland which is used to some cold winters! This highland whisky owes much of its unique flavour to this harsh environment.

On the nose Scottish heather, hints of honey and figs tease the senses. Some earthy scents make a brief appearance.

The palate is rich and warming. Dried fruits, honey, almost fruit cake-like sweetness. A second wind of flavours subtly emerges: Heather, leather and oatcakes.

The finish is rich and fruity, more flavours of honey and fruit cake.
