Benromach 15 Year Old

The Benromach Distillery has been producing exceptional Speyside whisky since 1898, famed for their devotion in using a personal touch, and aside from smell they use sight, sound and touch without a computer or pressure gauge in sight – the result; Benromach produces exceptionally smooth and lightly smoked whiskies.

This 15 year old single malt has been matured in sherry and bourbon casks resulting in a beautiful golden-amber liquid. On the nose expect an abundance of sherry notes, bursting zest of orange peel, spice and a waft of creamy vanilla. The palate is rich full of fruitcake, warming spice and top notes of exotic crisp fruit. The finish is a soft smokiness released in a charred oak mouthfeel…sweet cocoa notes continue. If you’re looking for more sherry than the 10 year old, then this 15 year is the drop for you.
