Benromach 10 Year Old

The Benromach Distillery has been producing exceptional Speyside whisky since 1898, famed for their devotion in using a personal touch, and aside from smell they use sight, sound and touch without a computer or pressure gauge in sight – the result; Benromach produces exceptionally smooth and lightly smoked whiskies.

The 10 year old single malt is a classical expression and provides a nod back to whisky of yesteryear. This has been carefully matured under watchful eyes for the first nine years in 80% bourbon and 20% sherry casks before finally an extra year in 100% sherry casks.

On the nose expect sweet ripe dried fruit, crunchy sliced green apples, malt and light smoke. The palate is delicately rich with barley and fruit, spice and smoke. The finish is enjoyably warm with long-lasting sweet smoke and spice. A truly fantastic 10 year old well worth a try.
