The result is a fine balance that incorporates both characteristics of the gin and rye casks. There’s some complexity going on but its depth leaves us wanting to experiment…of which we have done many a time. \u003cbr\u003eBotanicals that form the base of London Dry include Oak Moss, Cobnuts, Gorse Flowers, Hawthorn, Bay Laurel, Poppy Seeds, Honey, and Rosehips.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the nose expect a solid serving of aromatic botanicals but given a bit more time, the citrus notes come through along with a warmth of complexities from the rye cask finish. It’s sweet too, drizzled honey and toffee. To taste (neat) we loved the smoothness and unmistakable spice. The finish nods to florals with soft oak in the background.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServing Suggestion: \u003cbr\u003eWe sipped the Rye Cask Gin with a dash of dry ginger ale but, served over ice with a fresh lime and a more generous helping of ginger is equally as pleasant.
