Digits have seven white segments on a black surface and we give you a set of two alphanumeric displays in a pack so you can make a clock or a four letter word.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese are \u003cstrong\u003e17mcd bright\u003c\/strong\u003e. You can drive these with less current to get the same brightness to save power, or crank them up to\u003cstrong\u003e 20mA \u003c\/strong\u003eand have them at their brightest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are nine pins per side on these, so\u003cstrong\u003e 18 pins \u003c\/strong\u003etotal, with \u003cstrong\u003e0.1\" spacing\u003c\/strong\u003e so you can easily plug it into a breadboard with one row on each side for wiring it up.
